Jaq Jaq Bird, which is a cheerful bird that brings even cheerier art supplies. Customized, they are perfect for traveling, queuing or visiting a restaurant. They are brilliantly designed and conceived as an all-purpose cure for children's boredom.

The story of the brand's birth is quite a tale. It all started with a series of unfortunate events, happily ending with the creation of unique products that quickly conquered the hearts of children and parents, as well as the art accessories market.

The heart and founder of Jaq Jaq Bird is Grace. The brand's story began when Grace's family bought a small home in Washington and sought to customize it. At the time, Grace was a mother of two young children, expecting another offspring. Shortly before the birth of the toddler, it turned out that the contractor responsible for carrying out the renovation was a crook, and Grace's family was left with no savings in the house mid-renovation, with no access to the kitchen. While Grace's husband attempted to complete the renovation work, she and the children were forced to eat meals "out on the town." Restaurant children's menus and standard crayons were not enough to keep Grace's kids occupied, at least for a while. The determined mom longed for at least a little peace and quiet at family meals.

This is how she came up with the coloring mat, which today is known as Doodle It & Go. Similar to today's products, the mat was flexible, had a pad and a surface that allowed users to draw with chalk and freely erase their drawings. Small in size - it was ideal for a variety of outings. In restaurants, the mat was quickly spotted by other parents - delighted with the simple design and functionality. Then Grace knew that her idea for keeping her own children occupied could be a versatile and desirable product that would work for other families as well.

Distribution of the mats began with small steps. At first they appeared in local stores. Parents became interested in them, and later also the media. Quickly there were more orders than the products themselves, and Grace couldn't keep up with hand-stitching more.

Happily, the production and sale of the mats allowed Grace's family to complete the renovation while starting something entirely new - the Jaq Jaq Bird brand.

Today Jaq Jaq forms a small team overseeing sizable sales, international distribution and the creation of more custom solutions.

In addition to mats, the brand's offerings include dust-free chalk, erasable markers, erasable coloring books, whiteboard games and educational boards. All brilliantly designed and conceived to serve the little ones for as long as possible.

The kind of solutions we like best!
