Dresdner Essenz is a German brand that boasts more than a century of market presence. Its origins date back to the 20th century. In 1910, the first clinically tested medical bath products were developed in Dresden. They were created by Richard Carl Pittlik, who used only organic and all-natural ingredients in their production. In the same year, the company Li-IL Deutshe Arzneimittelwerke was also founded.

The company's product portfolio has expanded over time. Thanks to intensive clinical research, baths that improved circulation, gynecological baths or baths that helped treat skin or rheumatic ailments appeared on the market. It was these products that made the company gain a strong position in the market, and its cosmetics were appreciated and recommended by government institutions.

After the war, the company began to further expand its offerings and apply for more trademarks. After the fall of the Berlin Wall, it was decided to modernize the company. A new brand was created, which is known today as Dresdner Essenz. Its greatest heyday came in the 2000s, at which time the brand's signature products gained popularity both domestically and internationally. Among the pharmaceutical products there were also wellness offerings, i.e. body and bath cosmetics. These were created using traditional medicinal herbs and top-grade oils. Products designed for children - Dirty Birdie - also entered the permanent offer. Since then, Dresdner Essenz brand cosmetics are known and appreciated all over the world.
